About Mrs. Ingersoll
Mrs. Ingersoll teaches 7th grade American History on the Crimson Team. She graduated from Grand View College (yes, it was still a college back then) in 2000. Mrs. Ingersoll completed her Master's Degree and Middle School Endorsement in 2007. She has taught at Parkview for about 16 years although her job looks quite different from when she started. She taught for 5 years as a a Special Education Teacher, then spent 7 years teaching math- sometimes in combination with Social Studies or Reading. Her need for a change landed her on the Crimson team and she has never been happier. Mrs. Ingersoll lives in Polk City with her husband Joe, 3 kids - Brianna, Braeden and Mahliah, plus 2 dogs Wrigley and Chesney. This summer she will move her oldest daughter to Kansas City where she will start her first career job. It is also going to be her youngest daughter's senior year, so it will be a busy time. When she not busy with her family, she enjoys painting, scrapbooking, reading, and playing poker. Around Parkview she's known as the shoe lady with the pink classroom - just ask around.
